Locus mundi

People say in Africa that an elderly person that dies is like a library that burns. All memories housed inside this person’s body die together with it, all images disappear. What relation exists between the image and the person that hosts and nurtures it?
This video questions our intimate relation to the image. It starts with the sound of heavy rain. A poetic narration unfolds with the screen showing the darkness, awakening the memory of winter nights when the story told as a child was starting to blur into the half - consciousness of sleep.
