Watching a tree grow old

Six screens show different moments of this tree. As the seasons change and the tree adapts itself to them, the interaction around it never ceases. From the red car driver that suddenly appears to the child that plays in the snow, this meditative video shows an unexpected variation in what seemed to be at some point a pointless obstinacy to repetitively film this scene.
Over a scope of two years I filmed the tree below my window. The filming sequences were fairly regular: I mostly filmed 5 minutes once a week, always in the morning.
Functioning in a rather meditative way, this contemplative video installation has no beginning nor ending.
